The Farmville Town Council will hold public hearings at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, in the Council Chamber, located on the second floor of the Town Hall, 116 North Main Street, Farmville, Virginia to hear citizen comments on the following conditional use permit requests:
- Central Virginia Land Management is requesting a conditional use permit to allow a day care center to operate in the existing structure, which is located at 2720 Layne Street, parcel 0022000(0A)00-088. This property is zoned Business District B-3 and allows for a day care center with a conditional use permit.
- Melanie Adams is requesting a conditional use permit to allow for a family home day care in the basement of her residence, which is located at 503 Milnwood Road, parcel 023A14(02)-B-49. This property is zoned Residential District R-1 and allows for a family home day care with a conditional use permit.
Any person(s) wishing to comment on the above matter should plan to attend this meeting. If you do not feel comfortable attending the meeting, you can participate by contacting the Town Manager’s Office and ask to participate in the public hearing by phone. Once a person has formally made this request, they will be provided the conference call number.
