The Farmville Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on May 10, 2017 at 6:45 p.m. in the Town Council Chamber located on the Second Floor of the Town Hall, 116 North Main Street Farmville Virginia, for the purpose of hearing citizen comments on the following matters:
- Conditional Use Permit request on behalf of Mark and Laura French to build nine (9) dwelling units/cottages on a 1.052 acre lot located on the north side of First Street between North Virginia and North Bridge Streets (parcel # 0023A04(17)04-004). This property is zoned Residential R-4 and allows for multi-family dwellings with a conditional use permit.
- Ordinance No. 183 amends Chapter 20 Planning, Sec. 28-28 – Members-Appointment; term; compensation; qualifications, adding the appointment of two at-large members to the planning commission. Due to the length of the proposed ordinance, it is not published as part of this notice. Copies of the proposed ordinance may be obtained or reviewed by contacting Gerald J. Following the public hearing, Council may take action on the above-mentioned matters at their May 10, 2017 regular Council meeting, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
