The Farmville Town Council will hold a public hearing at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall located at 116 North Main Street, Farmville, VA. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear citizen comments on the adoption of the proposed 2020-2021 Town Budget, as follows:

The above budget includes a real estate tax rate of .12 cents per $100.00 of assessed value, a personal property tax rate (business only) of $1.50 per $100.00 of assessed value and a .27 cent per pack cigarette tax rate.
Citizens are encouraged to participate in this public hearing. Any person(s) wishing to comment on the above matter should plan to contact the Town Manager’s office and ask to participate in the public hearing comment period of the meeting. Once a person has formally made this request, they will be provided a conference call number and passcode.
