The Farmville Town Council will hold a public hearing at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall located at 116 North Main Street, Farmville, VA. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear citizen comments on the adoption of the proposed 2021-2022 Town Budget, as follows:

The above budget includes a real estate tax rate of $0.13 cents per $100.00 of assessed value, a personal property tax rate (business only) of $1.50 per $100.00 of assessed value and a .27 cent per pack cigarette tax rate.
Citizens are encouraged to participate in this public hearing. Any person(s) wishing to comment on the above matter may appear in person or may contact the Clerk of Council and ask to participate in the public hearing comment period by conference call. Once a person has formally made the request, they will be provided a conference call number.
